Welcome to ZenVeda, a wellness and habit-building application developed and operated by Unity Technology. ZenVeda is designed to help users build sustainable daily habits, track wellness progress and weight goals, reduce stress, and support a healthier lifestyle through concepts inspired by Yoga, Ayurveda, mindful living, Kaizen, and other wellness traditions.

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you when you use the ZenVeda mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use, ZenVeda may collect the following categories of information:

Account Information: Name, email address, profile photo, unique account identifier, and sign-in provider information when you use Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple.
Profile and Onboarding Information: Current weight, goal weight, wake-up time, sleep time, lifestyle or activity level, selected wellness challenges, goals, and app preferences.
Habit and Progress Data: Daily habit completions, daily scores, streaks, achievements, Zen Garden progress, weight entries, weight history, and related progress information.
Notification Information: Notification preferences and device push-notification tokens used to deliver reminders and important app messages.
Technical and Usage Information: Device type, operating system, app version, general usage events, diagnostics, performance information, and crash reports.
Subscription Information: Subscription status, product identifiers, transaction references, and entitlement information necessary to provide premium features. We do not directly collect or store your complete payment-card details.

2. Health and Wellness Information

ZenVeda may process information you voluntarily provide about your weight, goals, daily habits, sleep preferences, lifestyle, activity level, and wellness challenges. We use this information to provide app functionality, display progress, calculate habit scores and streaks, personalize your experience, and help you understand your wellness journey.

ZenVeda is a general wellness application and is not intended to provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or emergency healthcare services.

3. How We Use Your Information

We may use collected information to:

Create, authenticate, and manage your ZenVeda account.
Save and synchronize your profile, habits, weight entries, goals, scores, streaks, achievements, and Zen Garden progress.
Provide reminders and push notifications according to your settings.
Provide subscription features and verify purchase entitlements.
Understand app usage and improve usability, reliability, performance, and features.
Detect, investigate, and prevent technical problems, fraud, misuse, and security threats.
Respond to support requests and communicate important service or policy updates.
Comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Authentication

ZenVeda may allow you to sign in using Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. Authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication and the applicable identity provider. Information received depends on the permissions you grant and the provider's own privacy settings and policies.

5. Firebase and Service Providers

ZenVeda uses technology services that may process data on our behalf to operate and improve the application. These may include Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage where applicable, Cloud Functions, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Firebase Remote Config.

These service providers may process technical, account, usage, diagnostic, or app-related data as necessary to provide their services. Their processing is also subject to their own privacy terms and applicable data-protection requirements.

6. Analytics and Crash Reporting

We may use analytics and crash-reporting services to understand how ZenVeda is used, identify technical issues, monitor app stability, and improve the user experience. Information may include app interactions, device information, operating-system version, app version, diagnostic events, and crash logs.

7. Push Notifications

With your permission, ZenVeda may send reminders about habits, wellness routines, progress, streaks, and important app updates. You can manage notification permissions through your device settings and, where available, within the app.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device. We do not directly receive or store your full payment-card details. We may receive purchase status, transaction identifiers, product information, and entitlement data required to activate and manage premium access.

9. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share or allow processing of information only in limited circumstances, including:

With service providers that help us operate, secure, analyze, and improve ZenVeda.
With Apple or Google as necessary for authentication, app distribution, purchases, subscriptions, and platform services.
When required by applicable law, legal process, regulatory request, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable legal requirements.

10. Data Storage and Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide ZenVeda, maintain your account and progress, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and applicable requirements.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing. You may also manage notification permissions and other app preferences through the app or your device settings.

We will process valid deletion requests subject to applicable legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and record-keeping requirements.

14. Children's Privacy

ZenVeda is not directed to children under the age of 13, or a higher minimum age where required by applicable local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us contrary to this policy, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

15. Medical and Wellness Disclaimer

ZenVeda provides general wellness, habit-building, mindfulness, movement, and lifestyle information for educational and informational purposes. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. App content should not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Users should consider seeking professional guidance before making significant changes to exercise, diet, weight-management, or wellness routines, particularly where they have health concerns or medical conditions.

16. International Data Processing

Our service providers may process or store information in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure that such processing is handled in accordance with applicable data-protection laws and appropriate safeguards.

ZenVeda may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing information.
